Officers carry out search of premises in Dukinfield

Credit: Greater Manchester Police

Greater Manchester Police carried out the section 8 warrant at an address in Dukinfield today, Friday 16th May.

Officers from the Neighbourhood, District Intelligence Unit, Neighbourhood Tasking Team and CI Rudd executed a Section 8 warrant at an address in Dukinfield.

Upon entry into the address, 2 males and 1 female were searched – 1 male was arrested for drug offences and the other 2 had mobile devices seized from them and told to leave the address (as this was not their residence).

Drugs, mobile devices, VRM plates and a vehicle were seized as part of the investigation - officers have since recovered the vehicle and completed a full search.

The male arrested has now been charged with the drug offence, and ongoing mobile device work is ongoing.

Neighbourhood Officers are now providing reassurance around the area, distributing leaflets to residents explain our execution this morning and how to report further intelligence to us.
