Officers are appealing to speak to this man following the theft of donation boxes of around £400 from Ashton Central Mosque, Hillgate Street.
The theft occurred between 5.30am and 8.45am on Monday, September 9.
It was reported that a man entered the mosque through the main doors where he took several charity donation boxes containing an estimated £400.
Through initial enquiries, officers believe that he attempted to break into the administration office which caused £600 worth of damage to the doors and frames.
Police believe this could be linked with several similar burglaries across the country.
