Shoppers at Hattersley Tesco were treated to some seasonal spirit recently as pupils from Discovery Academy Hyde sang Christmas carols to raise money for their school.
The performance was led by the school’s Year 6 pupils, who gathered in the store to share a selection of festive favourites with passing shoppers. Their voices helped create a warm Christmas atmosphere while encouraging donations in support of school activities.
Among those taking part was Tameside Radio’s very own Maisie Mc, who proudly joined her classmates in singing for the cause.
Parents and family members also turned out to watch the performance, offering plenty of encouragement and festive applause as the children sang.
