The DDE's
Band of the week on Tameside Radio's Local Music Spotlight feature are The DDE's.
The four-piece band, consisting of Dan Brown, John Page, Paul Gallacher and Chris Morrall and are one of the most exciting bands to come out of Manchester in recent years. Staying true to the city’s famous indie roots, the four-piece pride themselves on 'constructing toe-tapping tracks formulated around face melting riffs and anthemic melodies'.
Influenced by bands such as Oasis, The Stone Roses, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Stereophonics, The Beatles and Bob Dylan, The DDE's are also known for putting on first class energetic live performances and have supported Cast and TheLightning Seeds.
They support The Facades this Saturday (February 17th) at Lion's Den in Manchester and will be playing alongside The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown at The Parish in Huddersfield on April 27th. The band's music is available on all usual platforms, including latest single 'Fracture'.
The DDE's will be played on every weekday show on Tameside Radio between 6am and 7pm all of next week. The band also joined the team on The Dave Sweetmore Show last Monday night, you can listen again via the OnDemand section of the website.
