Paul Fairclough
From the age of 12 the medium of radio has been in Paul’s heart.
His long and successful radio career started whilst at school in 1977 with Piccadilly Radio Manchester on their children's show Breakaway.
Spells at Hospital Radio followed, with Paul being a founder member of Radio Wishing Well at Park Hospital Davyhulme, the first ever NHS Hospital.
Several stations followed before he went to Wales and became a presenter on Marcher Sound.
He then moved to Manchester and joined Fortune Radio & Lite AM, before a move across the Yorkshire border to join Magic 828 followed.
In 1996 he was back in Manchester at the home of easy listening, Lite AM.
From there he moved to Bolton’s Tower FM for 10 years, then on to the Pulse in Bradford, and Signal Radio.
Paul can now be heard on Tameside Radio every Saturday between 3pm and 6pm, plus occasionally during the week as regular cover presenter for Alex Cann and Martin Emery.
