A woman has been arrested in connection with an arson attack at Ashton’s outdoor market.
Yesterday morning (September 20) the Greater Manchester Police town team arrested the woman. She’s since been bailed pending further enquiries and banned from Ashton town centre.
The arson took place on Monday September 6, resulting in burnt newspapers and ash strewn over the floor and six market tables.
