A woman was taken to hospital yesterday afternoon, March 10, after a dog attack in Hurst Cemetery.
At around 1.25pm, police received reports of the attack on Prospect Road in Ashton.
Officers attended alongside the firearms team and the dog was subsequently secured without armed officers firing their weapons.
The female's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or changing.
