A woman in her 40s is in a serious condition in hospital following a two-vehicle collision in the Newton area of Hyde.
Emergency services rushed to Victoria Street, at the junction with Clarendon Road, at around 10.30am on Tuesday morning (14 December).
Greater Manchester Police said two cars had collided with each other and the woman who has been hospitalised was driving one of the vehicles.
A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service said that one person was taken to hospital in a 'potentially severe condition'.
