A woman had to be rescued from a vehicle after a crash involving five vehicles in the Newton area of Hyde.
The incident happened on Talbot Road on Tuesday morning (6 September) shortly after 11am.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "At approximately 11.10am on Tuesday 6 September, firefighters attended a road traffic collision involving fire vehicles on Talbot Road in Hyde.
"Fire engines from Stockport, Offerton and Marple quickly attended the scene.
"Firefighters extricated a woman from one of the vehicles. She was then transferred to the care of colleagues from NWAS and taken to hospital.
"Fire crews also worked to make the scene safe and were in attendance for around 50 minutes."
The 346 Stagecoach bus service had to be diverted as a result.
