A 32-year-old woman has been left with severe head injuries following a road traffic accident in Stalybridge.
GMP Officers were called to Harridge Avenue yesterday (Wednesday 3 May) at 17:38, after reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.
Colleagues from NWAS also attended the scene to treat the woman.
GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses.
Sergeant Louise Warhurst of SCIU said: "This was a tragic collision that has left a woman with severe head injuries.
"We are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or was on Harridge Avenue around the time it happened and may have dash cam footage, to get in touch with us.
