This is the terrifying moment a car ploughs into a group of people outside a polling station in Ashton.
The incident happened at the junction of Dean Street and Portland Street North at around 4.30pm yesterday.
It was outside the Holy Trinity Community Centre - where residents were placing their votes.
It shows a man speaking to the driver of a red car, before multiple other people, including a woman, walked towards the car. The driver then quickly drove towards the group, with people getting knocked to the ground.
Police say a 43-year-old woman was taken to hospital with 'superficial injuries'. Two arrests have since been made in connection with the hit-and-run.
