A team of dedicated volunteers from Barnardo’s Denton set off last Sunday, 12th July 2026, for a fundraising ride to Manor Park in Glossop, braving the summer heat for a good cause.
Despite the challenging conditions, the team successfully completed the journey, raising over £170 for Barnardo’s to support vulnerable children and young people.
Upon arrival in Glossop, the riders were welcomed by Denton Event Champion Trish McKibbin, who provided refreshments and a well-earned rest before the group made their return to the Denton store.
Their efforts highlight the continued commitment of local volunteers to making a positive difference in their community.
