Fancy getting involved in the upkeep of your local railway station? A day to learn more is being held this Saturday.
On Saturday 17 July, people will have the opportunity to meet the volunteer team and learn what they can do to be a part of it.
The day runs from 10am-1pm and is run in partnership with Woodhead Railway Museum and the Friends of Guide Bridge Station.
Similar events are being held along the Woodhead Railway Route, which runs from Manchester to Sheffield.
The efforts of volunteers see station environments improved, the preservation of heritage and community involvement.
