A newly-opened community centre in the Waterloo area of Ashton has opened a 'uniform swap shop' for the summer holidays.
It's at the 4C Community Centre, in the grounds of Christ Church between Oldham Road and Taunton Road.
Parents are invited to bring their child's old uniform and take what they need, any time between 9am and 4pm Monday to Saturday.
It's designed to provide some support with uniform costs and help the environment too by getting more use out of the items.
The centre is also still looking for clean, useable uniform, school shoes and PE kit from Waterloo Primary, Canon Burrows and Canon Johnson schools, as well as Happy Hedgehog Nursery.
There is a box in reception to leave any donations, which will be gratefully received.
