Two 21-year-old men from Ashton have been charged after a man was assaulted in an unprovoked attack in the town earlier this week.
Greater Manchester Police has confirmed that Bilal Shah, of Uxbridge Street, and Mohammed Moradi, of Community Street, have been charged with section 47 assault.
They have been remanded to appear at Stockport Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Thursday).
It's in connection with a man being assaulted in an unprovoked attack on Progress Street in Ashton on Monday evening (April 27) at around 6.30pm.
The man was taken to hospital as a precaution.
