Two people have been charged following a Tameside police investigation into a stolen vehicle
Twenty one-year-old Tania Louise Hutton, of no fixed address, has been charged with taking without owner’s consent and Haroon Majeed, 26, from Dukinfield, has also been charged with taking without consent and possession of drugs and driving without insurance as part of an investigation into a stolen vehicle from Market Street Ashton on Tuesday.
They will both appear at Tameside Magistrates Court on 14 November 2024.
Meanwhile, police want to find the owners of some suspected goods discovered in a car.
A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft on Stockport Road in Denton.
A large welding machine was seized alongside a backpack and an oil compressor.
