Three men were arrested after police chased a stolen car in Mossley.
Shortly after 11pm on Friday evening (26 August), Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a stolen vehicle from Rochdale.
The car made off and later collided with a gate which leads to the canal near Three Countries Road in Mossley - while it was being pursued by the Tactical Vehicle Intercept Unit (TVIU).
Three men from Tameside have been arrested for theft from a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and robbery offences.
They remain in custody for questioning.
