A Tameside club has been broken into for the second time in a few weeks with the culprits even stealing charity collection tins.
Waterloo and Taunton Conservative Club, in Ashton, has been burgled again and the thieves have caused thousands of pounds of damage.
Club Chairman Leon Tamcken said: “To be targeted for a second time in such a short period is soul destroying for us.
“We are a community-run club who support local and national charities.
“The perpetrator even stole the charity collection tins.
“Thankfully our security systems kicked in; however, damage caused to property was extensive.
“The support from the local community after the burglary has been amazing. So many messages from local residents and businesses.”
