Volunteers from Hyde Fundraisers descended on Cineworld Ashton as they resumed their fundraising efforts.
They encouraged donations in a bucket at the first of their 'Selfie' fundraising events last Saturday (26 February).
It coincided with cinema day where all tickets were reduced to £3 for any of the formats.
Sing 2 seemed to be the most popular film on the day and the fundraisers brought along some of their sci-fi characters to encourage a donation.
Darth Vader was joined by The Emperor, a Dalek, Gorilla from Planet Of The Apes and Dalek creator Davros at the event, with a total of £75 being collected.
The volunteers will be back from 1pm this Saturday (5 March) at Cineworld to celebrate the arrival of the new Batman film.
They will be giving out special Batman posters and characters making an appearance will include Captain America, Batman and The Joker!
