Tameside Rotary has raised more than £1,500 for Willow Wood Hospice.
The money was raised by the Rotary club’s annual charity golf day, staged at Werneth Low Golf Club.
Tameside Rotary Founder President and organiser Andy Williams said: “The day was really great. Wonderful camaraderie (it’s also my golf club) and only a light rain to keep us all cool!
“Most importantly we raised over £1,500 for Willow Wood Hospice. Thanks also to Tameside Rotarian Les Smith who is co-organiser every year.”
Tameside Rotary President Angela Robbins had the honour of presenting the winner’s trophy to the winning team, Alker’s Army.
