
Police are investigating after an 18-year-old was stabbed in the back of the head on a street close to Ashton town centre.
It happened on Blandford Street and is understood to have been at around 11pm on Saturday night (16 April).
The teenager was taken to hospital, from where he was discharged the following morning.
Blandford Street was taped off by police between Cavendish Street and Oldham Road to allow officers to carry out enquiries.
