A teenage girl was left seriously injured after being hit by a bus on a main road in Audenshaw.
Emergency services rushed to Manchester Road at around 5.20pm on Wednesday (5 July) following reports of a collision between a double decker bus and a pedestrian.
A teenage girl suffered serious injuries but they are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of causing injury by careless driving and has been released pending further enquiries.
A stretch of the road, close to the Snipe Retail Park, was taped off for several hours whilst emergency services responded.
