
Four teenagers have been arrested after a 15-year-old girl was attacked by a gang whilst walking a dog in Droylsden.
The girl needed to go to hospital but wasn't seriously injured following the assault.
She was walking her dog near to Medlock Leisure Centre, off Gardenfold Way, when it happened at around 8pm last Saturday evening (26 March).
Three girls - aged 13, 15 and 15 - and a 16-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of assault and are being questioned in police custody.
Greater Manchester Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Helen Jordan, of GMP's Tameside district, said: "The victim had to attend hospital but fortunately was not seriously injured.
"She was attacked by a group of females and males, and is understandably shaken by the incident, and is being supported by her family and specialist officers.
"We believe this to be an isolated incident but believe it was witnessed by members of the public and would implore anyone with information to report it."
