Tameside's sport stars to be celebrated at annual event

Nominations are now open for the Pride of Tameside Sport and Physical Activity Awards.

The annual event is held at Dukinfield Town Hall in September and celebrates the best sporting achievement within the borough.

With nominations set to close on Sunday, August 4, now's the time to put forward a club or individual who you believe is worthy of recognition.

Winners at the Pride of Tameside Sports Awards will go on to represent the borough at the Greater Manchester Sports Awards later in the year.
