During the past week, the Tameside Radio van has been collecting toy and gifts from a local schools, businesses and individuals on behalf of Action Together for this years' Tameside Toy Appeal.
The response has been amazing, with hundreds of presents donated. They were dropped off at Hyde Children's Centre earlier today (Monday) where volunteers will be wrapping and sorting all the gifts into relevant age categories which will then reach those children living in poverty here in Tameside.
The Civic Mayor of Tameside Councillor Tafheen Sharif went along to see how the appeal has been running (listen to the audio below)
There's still chance to drop off your toy or gift before the appeal closes this Friday.
