Tameside Council has reminded community groups, residents, and local partners to apply for the final round of its Pride in Place Impact Fund, with applications closing on 31st July, 2026.
The fund, which has £1.3 million available for 2026/27, aims to support capital projects that deliver lasting improvements to neighbourhoods and community spaces across the borough.
Funding is available for a range of projects, including upgrades to community buildings and facilities, improvements to parks, play areas and public spaces, and initiatives that enhance high streets, markets, and town centres.
The Pride in Place Impact Fund is designed to help local people play a direct role in shaping the places they use every day. By investing in community-led improvements, the scheme seeks to create attractive, accessible, and sustainable spaces that will hopefully benefit residents for years to come.
Organisations and individuals with ideas to improve their local area are encouraged to submit an application before the deadline. The council is keen to hear from a wide range of groups and partners who can help deliver projects that strengthen communities and improve quality of life across the whole of Tameside.
