Tameside's Air Cadets have flown to the rescue to help the homeless at breakfast time in Ashton town centre.
The group, whose barracks are located on Old Street, have been offering Tea and Toast on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9 am and 11am.
We asked Wing Commander Dave Archibald how it all started.
“The idea came from Squadron Leader Simon Elliott and Squadron Commander Danny Bamber looking to support the homeless in the local community.
"They already had some links with the Town House in Ashton through Vanessa Rothwell at the council. So, it took a couple of phone calls, and we are delighted to supply tea, toast, fruit and biscuits to support those in need.”
