Take That release new single and look forward to huge UK and Ireland tour

Take That - including Droylsden's Howard Donald have released a new single.

This Life is the title track to the group's upcoming ninth studio album, which will be released on November 24.

The release comes weeks after the announcement that the 90s boyband favourites are to embark on an epic This Life On Tour next year, with 41 dates across 15 cities in the UK and Ireland.

Extra dates were added after tickets sold out in hours. Olly Murs will provide support on the tour.

Also this year, Take That's musical movie Greates Days hits cinemas. The film was loosely based on Take That's jukebox musical The Band.

Howard, 55, was born in Droylsden and attended Littlemoss High School.

He auditioned for a new boy band project in Manchester and was selected. The group was eventually named Take That.
