Thomas Campbell, 38, was found dead at an address on Riverside in Mossley at around 10.30am on Sunday, July 3.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene and a murder investigation launched.
Coleen Campbell, 38, of Bamford Street, Clayton, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. She was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court today.
