One of Greater Manchester’s most scenic bus routes is being diverted today after floods made roads impassable in Mossley.
The 356, which runs from Ashton to Oldham via the villages of Saddleworth, will miss visiting Heyrod and Bottom Mossley between Wakefield Road and Weir Mill until further notice.
Instead, the bus will travel via Stamford Street, Ridge Hill Lane, Darnton Road and Mossley Road into Top Mossley before rejoining its regular route.
Operated by Nexus Move, the 356 runs every two hours on Sundays and hourly during the rest of the week.
