Helping to feed those who need in most, Sandwich Angels are appealing for a grant to continue their vital work.
The not-for-profit community group, run entirely by volunteers, initially started making sandwiches for the homeless. They have now significantly widened their remit to help families and those most in need, delivering food packages across the area.
Now founder, Christina Howard, is asking for your help.
As Sandwich Angels is not a charity or government funded, they are struggling to keep up with demands and have started to refuse referrals.
She says they have applied for a grant through Jigsaw Homes as a community group, however they need your vote to ensure that they receive this money.
Sandwich Angels are reaching out to all Jigsaw Homes tenants to vote for them, allowing them to continue feeding the community.
Christina says the grant would help them to continue feeding struggling families, victims of domestic violence, as well as the elderly and vulnerable.
All of their food parcels are free, and they desperately need your vote to help.
Jigsaw tenants can help by voting for Sandwich Angels here.
