Dukinfield and Stalybridge Rotary Club has helped a local school to rebuild and replace their beloved reading shed, which was "destroyed" in last year's tornado.
In the aftermath of the devastating incident on December 27, the Rotary Club said it was "determined" to lend a helping hand to Millbrook Primary School.
A spokesperson for the club said: "Pupils were particularly affected when the cherished reading shed, stocked with a collection of books for young readers, was destroyed.
"Through the generosity and support of our community and dedicated members, we are pleased to announce that Millbrook Primary School has successfully rebuilt their reading shed!"
The school proudly unveiled the new reading shed at a special ceremony held for pupils and organisations that helped with the funding.
