A main road in the Guide Bridge area has reopened following reports of a serious collision involving a motorcyclist.
Stockport Road was closed for several hours on Monday morning (24 August) between Birch Street and Portugal Street - including Pottinger Street, opposite Oxford Park.
Transport for Greater Manchester tweeted to say this was due to a road traffic collision.
But the road was reported to have reopened just after 12pm.
We have contacted Greater Manchester Police for further details.
