Police have issued advice and stepped up patrols after 'a number' of thefts of Range Rovers in the Hyde area overnight on Monday (7 February).
Greater Manchester Police's Tameside South and West team said the vehicles were all stolen by means of a keyless theft.
They are advising anyone with a keyless ignition system in their car to put their keys in a faraday pouch overnight.
Police say the pouches, which can be obtained online, prevent thieves from cloning keys remotely and stealing the vehicle.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police's Tameside South and West added: "If you do hear or see anything suspicious overnight, please ring us and we will get someone out to you. Additional force resources will be deployed in the area to target those committing these crimes."
People should call the 101 number or alternatively report it online at https://www.gmp.police.uk/
