Police have issued a warning to residents amid an increase in the theft or attempted theft of pedal bikes and scooters from garages in the Gee Cross area of Hyde.
Greater Manchester Police's Tameside South and West team said on Sunday (27 June) that they had seen a "small increase" in the past week.
They are urging people to continue to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
Issuing some crime prevention advice, the team is also encouraging residents to ensure that their garages are kept locked, use a wheel lock even if your bike is in a garage, and set your alarms.
