Police snatched 150 cannabis plants during a raid in Hyde after a neighbourhood tip-off that the address was being used as a cannabis farm.
The plants were seized and the farm apparatus disassembled.
A police spokesman said: "This was as a result of information received from the public. If you suspect that a property is being used to grown cannabis do you know the signs?
"The property might look empty or unlived in. People and vehicles coming and going during the day and night. Large boxes, pipes, Lighting equipment, plastic sheeting, bags of fertilizer or building materials are seen going into the premises at different times. Fans which might be seen or heard by neighbours. A smell of the plants on occasion which comes and goes and there could be uilding work going on inside the premises."
