British Transport Police are searching for a an after a ticket inspector was threatened on a train travelling between Mossley and Stalybridge
He boarded the first class carriage at Mossley station at around 6pm last month [Monday 24 June].
A female inspector asked to see his ticket and he responded with swearing and threats of violence. He was overheard saying "I will smash your face in". He then followed her down the carriage, continuing to threaten her.
The suspect left the train at Stalybridge.
Officers believe the man in the image may have information that could help their investigation.
