Police are appealing for the public's help to find the owner of a 'unique' pocket watch which is believed to have been stolen.
Police were called to reports of a burglary at a pub on Market Street in Droylsden, at around 10.30pm on Monday 3 January.
A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
A search was conducted at the man's address, during which a pocket watch and Cartier bracelet were recovered which police believed to be stolen.
Officers are appealing for the owners of the property to come forward so that it can be returned to them.
PC Vicky New, of GMP's Tameside district, said: "The pocket watch in particular is very unique so we believe that it could hold great sentimental value to someone who is missing it and are keen for it to be returned to its rightful owner."
Anyone who has any information about the items of jewellery and who they may belong to is asked to contact police on 0161 856 9259, quoting log number 805 of 04/01/22.
Alternatively, reports can be made anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
