Police appeal for public's help in next-of-kin search

Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace the next of kin of a man who was known to frequent in the Greater Manchester area.

James Smythe, 48, passed away on Saturday 4 April 2020 at a hotel in Sale. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

James was of no fixed address but was known to frequent in the Greater Manchester area. It is believed that he was born in Doncaster.

If anyone has any information about James’ next of kin they should contact the Police Coroner’s Office on 0161 856 9290.
