Lots of plans are in the pipeline at St Mark's Church in Dukinfield during the countdown to Christmas.
The Railway Street church is staging its Christmas Tree Festival at the end of this month, with the festival of decorated trees taking place on the weekend of Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 November.
Each year, the festival attracts dozens of decorated trees around a theme - the theme this year being ‘What a Wonderful World’.
The church will also host a Concert of Christmas Music on Sunday 28 November at 2pm, when Arnfield Brass Band will perform.
Admission to the concert will be £4.
Before then, however, the Rev Karl Williams will lead the service of Remembrance at Dukinfield Cenotaph on Sunday at 3pm.
Adamson Military Band will be in attendance, but there will be no parade from the town hall.
