Land off Coombes View in Broadbottom has been earmarked for development.
Presently described as ‘scrubland’ plans to build 12 one-bedroom apartments with associated works have been submitted to Tameside Council.
The residential apartments would all be for 'affordable' rent.
The site sits immediately alongside existing housing stock owned by Jigsaw Housing. Jigsaw Housing have been consulted in detail to ensure the newly proposed units align with the needs of the affordable housing sector.
The proposal is under consideration.
