Park walk in special memory of Tameside teenager

ANNIVERSARY MISSION: Members on their 10-mile walk visiting Tameside's parks and raising awareness about meningitis.

Dedicated volunteers from The Believe and Achieve Trust trekked 10 miles to share their vital message across Tameside.

Handing out meningitis symptom cards as they travelled through various parks, the team managed to educate more than 450 people on the dangers of meningitis.

Visiting Stamford, Cheetham, Hyde and Dukinfield Parks, the team were joined by young people who face their own challenges regarding their disability.

The event was a huge success, and one which would’ve made Alex Williams extremely proud.

The Believe and Achieve Trust are marking 10 years since Alex lost his life, continuously striving to make a difference and carry on his legacy.

Believe and Achieve was founded in his honour in 2014 and you can find out more about the charity on their Facebook page or visit https://www.believeandachieve.org.uk/
