Thriller novel ‘Release’ is Karen Moore’s second book, following young mother Hanna as she uncovers a criminal operation.
Readers met Hanna in Karen’s first novel ‘Torn’, but the sequel can be read as a standalone.
The story sees Hanna and her daughter Eva living in the Welsh hills, rebuilding their lives after the imprisonment of Hanna’s estranged mafioso husband. However, an invite to Sicily causes their lives to spin out of control.
Karen added: “I’ve always been fascinated by how people react to crises. Hanna is tested to the limit over the course of both books and has to adapt and change if she and her daughter are to survive.”
Both novels deal with real humanitarian issues affecting many European countries and are published by Darkstroke Books.
Working on her third novel in the series, Karen is moving the characters away from Sicily to face new challenges.
