No holds carred at classic show

Dozens of older models were driven into Broadbottom on Saturday for a full weekend featuring music, entertainment, and a judging panel - hosted by the High Peak Classic Car Group.

Crowds of attendees pushed through the damp weather to take in the vehicles, which included models from as far back as the 1930s, put on display by owners from the Tameside Car Collectors; Hare & Hare Classic Vehicle Club; Glossop 4 by 4 Club; and the Tame Valley Vintage and Classic Car Club.

The event also saw a fantastic musical performance from the Garage Band, while a panel of judges from Duel Autocare issued prizes for their winning vehicles.

The High Peak Classic Car Group is a free-to-join enthusiast group made up of volunteers with a shared passion for vintage vehicles. The group welcomes all vehicles to join them for events, monthly breakfasts, lunches, and evening drives, and are always looking for new members to contact them via social media.

Anyone wishing to join future events can contact the group at highpeakccg@gmail.com.
