Jigsaw Homes has submitted plans to Tameside Council for a major new social homes development around Cavendish Mill in Ashton.
The proposal is for the building of a total of 51 new homes with associated landscaping and access roads.
The development would be situated on land on the south east side of Bank Street, adjacent to the mill itself.
The proposals comprise redevelopment of the site for 32 one bedroom apartments, five two bed terrace houses, two three bed semi-detached houses and 12 three bed terrace/semi-detached houses with amenity space, parking and associated access.
The development aims to provide 51 units which will be a mix of family homes and apartments.
