Residents have been finding new ways to occupy their time during lockdown, including rekindling their creative juices to preserve their mental well-being.
Many have dug out pencils and paint brushes or dusted off their cameras buried in wardrobes or drawers.
Daily walks for exercise have been turned into inspirational hunts, to spot that cute animal or scenic panorama.
Those who populate social media, have harnessed its positive attributes to share their efforts with the wider community.
Now a new Facebook community has been created, to be a hub uniting creative individuals across the mediums, where their work can be fully appreciated, and their enthusiasm passed to others.
The new Tameside Art and Photo (TAP) Gallery has already attracted over 500 members and has more than 1,000 exhibits adorning its virtual walls.
