The M67 is currently closed westbound between Junction 3 (Mottram in Longdendale) and Junction 4 (Hyde) following a "diesel spillage", with major delays along the A57 too.
At around 10:27, North West Motorway Police Group responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash where one of the cars had also struck the nearside and central reservation barriers.
A diversion is currently in place.
