Mossley students show their festive spirit

Caring pupils and staff at Mossley Hollins High School donned their best festive wear for Christmas Jumper Day.

The school raised a fantastic £386.37 with the money being split equally between Cancer Research UK (in memory of former staff member Diane Kershaw and pupil George Butterworth) and Emmaus Homeless Charity. The charities were selected by the student council.

The school said: “Thank you to our Year 10 and 11 prefects and head student team for their help in collecting the money.

“Our MCSP partner primaries also held their own Christmas Jumper Days and the money they raised (over £750) will be shared between the two same charities.”
