Mossley Hollins High School reported ‘outstanding achievements’ for students receiving their GCSEs and other qualifications.
Coronavirus saw exam-based grading cancelled for the second year and replaced by teacher assessed grades. Though teachers award their student’s marks, they are held to the national standard and approved and awarded by the exam board.
The government also declared it is not publishing performance data for any schools or colleges this year.
Every student showed ‘hard work, commitment and resilience’ and should be ‘rightly proud of their achievements’ said Mossley Hollins.
One pupil, Ewan MacDonald, excelled by scoring 8 Grade 9’s and 3 Grade 8’s.
