A man who was reported missing in Tameside has sadly been found dead following a police search.
Michael Selwood was reported missing in Tameside, leading to a police search aided by concerned members of the public. Sadly, Greater Manchester Police has confirmed that officers searching for Selwood found his body at around 5pm on Sunday (July 19th).
Selwood's family has been informed and is now being supported by specially trained officers. No further details about the circumstances surrounding Selwood’s death have yet been released.
